A cool idea
A friend had sugested we try to build an evaporation fridge and so reduce the demand for space in our two small propane fridges. He explained that in principle you build a cavity walled box with clay bricks, fill the cavity with sand onto which a hose contantly drips water. As the water seeps through the sand and brick to the outside it evaporates. In order to evaporate energy (heat) is taken from inside the box.
